Short answer: Bay Area Sanitation is a family-run portable restroom company serving the Bay Area. We rent standard, deluxe flushable and ADA porta potties, hand wash stations and restroom trailers for construction sites and events. We post our prices, deliver on weekdays from 7 AM to 4 PM, and include weekly service on construction rentals.
How did Bay Area Sanitation start in portable restrooms?
Bay Area Sanitation grew out of a family history in sanitation. Today the business is focused on portable restrooms: renting, delivering and servicing units for construction sites and events around the Bay Area.
What do you rent?
- Standard restrooms with a toilet, urinal, ventilation and hand sanitizer
- Deluxe flushable restrooms with a foot-pump flush, mirror and interior sink
- ADA restrooms with a ground-level entry, handrails and turning space
- Hand wash stations with foot pumps, soap and paper towels
- Restroom trailers with multiple stalls, flushing toilets, sinks and air conditioning
Most standard rentals run about $170–$225, covering up to 28 days (see current prices).
How do you keep units clean?
Construction rentals include a weekly service visit. The technician pumps the tank, cleans and sanitizes the interior, restocks toilet paper and sanitizer, and adds fresh deodorizer. Service runs on weekdays, and a visit missed for a holiday or weather moves to the next business day. You can add extra visits for big crews or long events.
How do delivery and booking work?
We deliver Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 4 PM. The driver calls ahead. Units go in front of the property, no more than 25 feet from the street. Book events at least a week ahead and construction at least two business days ahead. Construction rentals bill every 28 days until you call for pickup. Event pickups are scheduled when you book.
